Vanessa has over 20 years’ experience as a former regulator, foodborne illness investigator, corporate food safety leader and entrepreneur. Her unique background enables her to blend applied regulation, science, and industry practice to provide forward-looking, practical solutions scaled to business needs. Vanessa specializes in food safety management systems, risk mitigation and compliance strategy, compliance negotiation, crisis navigation as well as food safety behavior programs.
After work, Vanessa enjoys adventuring with her husband and dog while backpacking, camping, xc skiing, and kayaking. She fancies herself an amateur landscape photographer and culinary adventurist.
